In my life if there is one thing I have learned for sure it is that those people who squawk the loudest about something like hypocrisy are most often the most hypocritical. Case in point, any liberal you know. For the past seven years every liberal out there has wined and complained about how the Patriot Act makes it o-so easy for George Bush to see EVERYTHING WE DO! Man how they complained about our civil liberties this, our privacy as Americans this, bla bla bla. Well all that talk about caring about civil liberties is thrown out the window when some one on their side hacks into Sarah Palin’s email and then post peoples person emails to and from friends and family on the Internet. Not only that but the person went so far as to post her privet pictures of her children. What happened to civil liberty and all that other rot? Just reading the comments on the postings is enlightening in and of itself, most of the comments focus on making fun of her Christianity in a not so funny kind of way. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t find the comments offensive so much as I see them as revealing to just how ignorant liberals actually are.
Then we have the messiah himself on campaign in Nevada yesterday “taking a harder swipe at McCain” He told supporters in Elko “I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face,” How exactly does getting into peoples face change the tone in Washington? The only tone it changes is to bully people to believe what they do. This just further aids people in avoiding the conversations in the first place. Does anyone not see that this amounts to nothing more then force? I thought the liberals represented freedom to choose? Apparently his supporters don’t think so. One of the bright florescent builds in the crowed said this "I think he needs to keep doing exactly what he's doing, which is speak softly, show it through," said Paul Barnhart, a retired real estate appraiser. "I think most Americans are pretty fed up and sick and tired of the bickering and the battling back and forth. I am." How does getting into peoples face change the tone? O-I know how it changes the tone; it culturally forces everyone to believe the way you do.
Picking out hypocrisy in liberals is like shooting fish in a very shallow barrel. I don’t think these types of arguments will ultimately serve them well though. I do think most people are tired of politics as usual. However the unidentified feeling of change most people have is that they feel like they are being told what to do at every turn and want others out of their faces and out of their emails. Advocating the principles of personal agency is the only real change that will ever change the world.
Not only do I love the picture which is GREAT but I agree. However, I will say finding hypocracy in ANY politian is too easy. I agree in liberals it is ridiculous. I think we need to have open dialoge about the canidates but more then that a diagloge about the constitution and our liberty.
