Robots, the new threat to socialism.

Well its official, the government is really trying to hide from us just how upside down the world is. Apparently Robots are attacking people, well more accurately, Swedes and it has been happening for 2 years. I for one never knew how dangers robots apparently are, to Swedes.

I have run it down to one of two possible reasons why this is happening. First and the most likely, is that even robots are tired of Ikea flat packs and have decided to revolt against their masters.
Slightly less likely but still probable is that the robots are ashamed that a once proud warrior culture trained for death and destruction are now one of the most “progressive” (Read here commie) country’s in the world. Maybe the robots are revolting against the overwhelming sissyness of the country. Here is a more recent representation of the Swedes, interpret this how you will.
Assuming that it is the second reason can we expect our robots to start attacking us as the country goes down the sissy brick road? By becoming more socialized are we really exposing ourselves to a destructive new plague of revolutionary robots? It’s up to us to ring the warning bell.

Why socialism and universal health care are against God's Law

In gospel doctrine class this Sunday the teacher spoke on the reality of evil in this world and how it affected the early Saints of this dispensation. In doing so, she read from C.S. Lewis's book Mere Christianity. When I read this passage I realized that this is why socialized or universal health care is wrong, and why socialism in any form is of the devil and has as its designs, evil purposes.

"Christians, then, believe that an evil power has made himself for the present the Prince of this World. And, of course, that raises problems. Is this state of affairs in accordance with God's will or not? If it is, He is a strange God, you will say: and if it is not, how can anything happen contrary to the will of a being with absolute power?

But anyone who has been in authority knows how a thing can be in accordance with your will in one way and not in another. It may be quite sensible for a mother to say to the children, "I'm not going to go and make you tidy the schoolroom every night. You've got to learn to keep it tidy on your own." Then she goes up one night and finds the Teddy bear and the ink and the French Grammar all lying in the grate. That is against her will. She would prefer the children to be tidy. But on the other hand, it is her will which has left the children free to be untidy. The same thing arises in any regiment, or trade union, or school. You make a thing voluntary and then half the people do not do it. That is not what you willed, but your will has made it possible.

It is probably the same in the universe. God created things which had free will. That means creatures which can go either wrong or right. Some people think they can imagine a creature which was free but had no possibility of going wrong; I cannot. If a thing is free to be good it is also free to be bad. And free will is what has made evil possible.

Why, then, did God give them free will? Because free will though it makes evil possible, is also the only thing that makes possible any love or goodness or joy worth having. A world of automata—of creatures that worked like machines—would hardly be worth creating. The happiness which God designs for His higher creatures is the happiness of being freely, voluntarily united to Him and to each other in an ecstasy of love and delight compared with which the most rapturous love between a man and a woman on this earth is mere milk and water. And for that they must be free."

There is no way to take away the down sides without taking away its opposite. As much as Socialized and universalized health care seek to take away pain and suffering, and provide an increase in the quality of life, it simply is not capable of ultimately accomplishing such a lofty standard. It is a false hope born of a misunderstanding of gospel principles.

As 2 Nephi 2:11-13 states,

"11 For it must needs be, that there is an aopposition in all things. If not so, my first-born in the wilderness, righteousness could not be brought to pass, neither wickedness, neither holiness nor misery, neither good nor bad. Wherefore, all things must needs be a compound in one; wherefore, if it should be one body it must needs remain as dead, having no life neither death, nor corruption nor incorruption, happiness nor misery, neither sense nor insensibility.

12 Wherefore, it must needs have been created for a thing of naught; wherefore there would have been no apurpose in the end of its creation. Wherefore, this thing must needs destroy the wisdom of God and his eternal purposes, and also the power, and the mercy, and the bjustice of God.

13 And if ye shall say there is ano law, ye shall also say there is no sin. If ye shall say there is no sin, ye shall also say there is no righteousness. And if there be no righteousness there be no happiness. And if there be no righteousness nor happiness there be no punishment nor misery. And if these things are not bthere is no God. And if there is no God we are not, neither the earth; for there could have been no creation of things, neither to act nor to be acted upon; wherefore, all things must have vanished away.

In other words there must be choice, and there must be freedom to fail if we are to also be able to have the ability to succeed and experience joy and happiness. Socialized systems take this away. Much like the plan of the adversary who sought to force all to chose right and return to live with God it was not right to be that way. Those dedicated and unrelenting in the pursuit of socialized health care expose their dedication to principles compromised by the influence of the adversary and should not be trusted.

Apparently the Porkulus was indeed for HAM!!!!

I was checking the headlines on drudgereport this morning and before I could even scroll down these headlines caught my eye:

Would it be over the top to believe that maybe these companies that recieved "aid" (if you can call it that) were possibly contributors to Obama's campaign.....

Hi, Billy Mays here, and I'm selling........Nationalized Health Care

I'm going to tell you something you probably already know...namely, liberals are idiots. No seriously, it is literally incomprehensible how the rules of logic simply cannot penetrate the skull of a liberal. The outer layers of the protective shell for their brain seems to be just too thick. More suprisingly or not suprisingly if one were to use some sort of jackhammer or jaws of life to pry a liberal's skull open, I suspect one would find a small pea sized substance used to run the basic bodily functions, because clearly they cannot do anything else, like carry on intelligent conversations or dabble with logic.

Will someone please explain to me how this statement from Joe Biden makes sense: ‘We Have to Go Spend Money to Keep From Going Bankrupt’

I'm sorry, but I don't get it. If I was going bankrupt I would do just the opposite. That's right, I would stop spending. That seems to be the logical thing to do right? I don't get it, maybe I'm missing something that everyone else gets..........

That statement from Vice President "Joe" is not taken out of context. Read the article linked below:

Is he president or not?

This article was on one of the last pages in the Brief News section. I figure that this is a bit more of a significant story. Do we have an illegal president (small thing I know)? So I scanned it to post on the page here. Read it and comment as to what merit this case might have.Click to enlarge

Major wants court to stall deployment

McClatchy Newspapers

COLUMBUS, Ga. — U.S. Army Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook filed a request last week in federal court seeking a temporary restraining order and status as a conscientious objector with the intent to stall and eventually prevent an upcoming deployment to Afghanistan.

In the 20-page document — filed July 8 with the United States District Court, Middle District of Georgia — Cook's California-based attorney, Orly Taitz, asks the court to consider granting his client's request based upon Cook's belief that President Barack Obama is not a natural-born citizen of the United States and is therefore ineligible to serve as commander-in-chief of U.S. armed forces.

Cook further states he "would be acting in violation of international law by engaging in military actions outside the United States under this President's command, and that Plaintiff would thus be simultaneously unable to perform his duties in good Rule 65(b) Application for Temporary Restraining Order 22 conscience and yet be simultaneously subjecting himself to possible prosecution as a war criminal by the faithful execution of these duties.

PDA on temple square es NO BUENO

Those not local to the Salt Lake City area may have not heard of a story that happened this last week just outside temple square on Church owned property. Two gay men were walking the grounds holding hands and kissing in the shadows of the Salt Lake Temple and near the church office building. After they were asked by church officials to leave the private property of the church if they wished to engage in public displays of affection, these two men resisted, and were sited with trespassing violations.

The report from the two men were that they were simply holding hands and that they were not as blatant as they were being reported. In a news report there stated in respect to the common phrase on most church locations, "Visitors Welcome" must not include visiting gays.

The church's official statement implies that these two men became more belligerent when asked to leave and caused a scene resulting in a disruption of the peace. "As private property of the LDS Church, it has the right to regulate speech, dress and activity on Main Street Plaza, police said."

Now the latest story is that salt lake city council woman Deeda Seed staged a "kiss in" as a protest to the church's actions. People of all walks of life including gays and lesbians were invited to go to public property ajacent to Temple Square and Main street Plaza and do a 'kiss in' where public displays of affection were encouraged. The angle of the protests were an attempt to show the church as an organization who was not advocated love and tolerance as they so claim.

So what the church wrong in dismissing these men? Were these men wrong for prodding and testing the church by their actions? What were other alternative actions for both parties? And who wants to go throw down on this city council woman for turning this whole thing into an act of protest and political capital? Funny how those who preach tolerance are often the least tolerant. From my perspective I have a hard time thinking that these two men were innocent in their knowledge of the church's view on homosexuality and were free of intent to incite a disturbance of the church's right to private property as a way to bring negative opinion on the church. In the history of the church, it has been common practice by those who oppose the church to attack it at its core. This was done with the Nauvoo Expositor newspaper and in other times and locations of the church. Seems like the adversary is up to his old tricks.

In the end the protest only drew 60 people. Probably not the turnout the organizers were hoping for.

Pelosi totally looks like Alien!.....sorry Alien.

Is going green about making "green"?

The debate over the environment seems to bring out an interesting side of people. For those that are for the cause, there seems to be a strong passion to push products that are environmentally friendly or "green". With these products they are usually sold at a higher price tag. These reasons range from different ingredients, extra money donated from each purchase to save a rain forest, or simply because they can. Many who claim to be capitalists don't buy into the hype of environmentalism. Could the fight against the environmental movement from the "capitalist right" be a fight against itself?

Can we see that what is viewed by some as an environmental movement is really a shift in the market demand and the marketing genius of entrepreneurs and capitalists? If so, why be so against it?

Hurry and watch this video on the stimulus package before we loose even more jobs!

Don't think about this issue, just hurry and watch this video. Watch it as fast or the economy will collapse! (in case you couldn't pick up on my sarcasm, this is sarcasm).

The video below is as simple as I have seen presented to show that the stimulus scare was no different than George Bush going to war in Iraq, only instead of 10,000 or so lives lost in US troops, we have lost (not spent-lost) billions in tax payer money, and it seems to have cost us millions more jobs than if we had just let things happen alone. So in other words, president Obama spent billions of tax payer dollars to loose tax payer jobs. Brilliant idea! Now onto to crushing our broken medical system in the same way!

How does this apply to LDS minded thinkers? More of a bad thing does not make it a good thing. More spending, the thing that has gotten us where we are at, is not going to make it all better. Same with sin, same with debt. This practice of debt spending and lying about finances is still being effected by eternal laws and the laws of economics. There are punishments and downfalls for such a lack of responsibility and poor stewardship. As individuals we cannot spend in like manner as the government or we are not only being dishonest with our creditors, but we cannot expect to ever be free from the bondage of debt slavery.

And another on this not so impressive 100 million dollar federal budget cut Obama is planning on "hunting down" so nobly.

Mocking Mormons

During the 2008 campaigns of Mitt Romney for President, and all the debate on Same Gender Marriage legislations in multiple states, the church and its members became under attack for what some considered to be out of date principles and feelings of hatred towards those of other lifestyles. This is of course no new thing to members of the church. However I also saw a great many in the church that sought to distance themselves from the church similar to those in Lehi's vision of the Tree of Life. In that vision there were those who had partaken of the fruit of the Tree of Life and became ashamed and fell away because of those from the Great and Spacious Building who were in the attitude of mocking the righteous. Why be ashamed of the gospel of Christ? Members have rarely sat well in the eyes of the world, why are so many concerned now?

In past blog comments, there have been some that presume there is a changing morality amongst newer members of the church today and that some more conservative members are not diverse, or that "we" are an intolerant people. Perhaps there are a few that fit this category or definition. However, I have never felt as though I am intolerant of anything but sin, and encourage diversity so long as it maintains the standards of the church. There is a notable difference between being tolerant and being permissive beyond agreeable standards. Those who challenge the church often use word twisting to manipulate and ensnare the latter-day saints in an attempt to show their beliefs as folly, to disarm their principles or to make them appear incorrect and ridiculous in the eyes of the world. Many tried this very thing in Christ's day with no success.

I found an article by Boyd K. Packer from the October 2003 General Conference in which he gave this advice:
"Now words can be used as weapons against you. If they throw the word diversity at you, grab hold of it and say, "I am already diverse, and I intend to stay diverse." If the word is tolerance, grab that one, too, saying, "I expect you to be tolerant of my lifestyle—obedience, integrity, abstinence, repentance." If the word is choice, tell them you choose good, old-fashioned morality. You choose to be a worthy husband or wife, a worthy parent."

Gallup Daily: Obama Job "dis" Approval

Its that time again to see how our President is doing in the eyes of the nation. According to the most recent Gallup Poll information, President Obama has slipped to 58 percent job approval rating which is only a couple of points lower than where he has been for a few months now. But the biggest change comes in the fact that his disapproval numbers have tripled since coming into office. For all those who were waiting to give this guy a chance rather than blindly accept or hate him, they seem to be loosing confidence in him fast. Remember this is only his sixth month in office.
Click here to view stats - Daily Gallup Poll: Obama Job Approval

With this trend in place his disapproval rating could be around 60 percent after his first year in office.

With Sarah Palin showing her hand this last week by resigning the governorship, which I can only describe as a confusingly bad idea if she plans on running for president, it looks like the Republicans feel some kind of "open window" of opportunity to take back the White House. These new numbers would seem to indicate that there might be some validity in thinking this way.

In the end I will give Obama credit for one thing. He said he would bring socialism to this country, and he is following through on his word. As a socialist I give him a 100 percent approval rating.

Media Censorship.......what?

Living the dream brothers and sisters! Ever since the cold war ended and the U.S.S.R. crumbled I have wondered where Communism had run off to. Who would have thought it would sprout and gain root again in, of all places, the White House. It's funny to see media outlets that got Mr. Hussein elected, are now ticked off that he's playing favorites and censoring some of the same companies that got him the job. Anyways, I just thought this video was laughably outrageous, that is....before I started crying. Take a look.
