Who likes big government? This guy!

Well I just received further confirmation that my not voting for John McCain was the right decision in 2008. As I’ve talked about before McAmnisty is in the middle of a tough political fight here in AZ, turns out the gig is up on his cover as a conservative. Because of the threats from the right in the primary McAmnisty has been in full on flip flop mode trying to convince everyone that he is a real “Reagan Republican.”

Well the story and position changes have continued, when called on his having voted for the bank bail out McAmnisty said he was miss lead by Treasury Secretary Paulson and fed Chairman Ben Bernanke. Misled? I’m not even in politics and I knew back then that the money wouldn’t be used for what it was intended for. Anyone with an ounce of memory capacity or a couple years of life experience knows that the government sucks at redistributing money and generally doesn’t do what they say they will do with it.

So if Paulson was too tricky for McCain how would he do up against Iran? How could he handle the Chinese at this critical point in the nation’s history? Would he just take everyone at their word dismissing history and experience? If Ben Bernanke is too tricky for McCain clearly its time for him to hang up his hat and head back to his ranch in Sedona.
Of course McCain wasn’t misled, he knows the Washington game better then anyone. McCain is a progressive who is used to manipulating public perception to get what he wants, he just happens to try and trick people whop call themselves “conservative.” What’s funny to me is that he comes up with these weak excuses for his actions that is clearly transparent and only casts him in the light of ineptitude. Glad to see him try it though, hopefully it’s just another nail in his coffin.

Republicans just don’t seem to be getting it; we are not concerned with the D or the R in front of your name. We want people who support the founding documents of our country, not people who think we need to “progress” into something different or better. We’ve been down the road people like McStain want us to travel, its called The Road to Serfdom and we left that style of governance in the dark ages. Unfortunately local gentry always think they are smarter then the rest of us and try to find ways to get us to comply with their master plan. Personal liberty and adherence to law is the standard. McCain is an enemy to these ideas no matter how he tries’s to spin it.

  2. M. Galt, I love the pictures you are able to find on these guys. Do you subscribe to a service or something because you are able to find the funniest pictures of these people.

But seriously, I am starting to believe more and more than our current set of politicians that are starting to pay the piper when it comes to the games of the last few decades. This is just another show of this.
