Viktor Frankl On Achieving Man's Highest Potential
Viktor Frankl is the author of one of my favorite books, "Man's Search for Meaning". In the video clip below Viktor Frankl takes a slightly different approach to life, society, and Man's search for success/meaning that what he does in his book "Man's Search for Meaning". He poses the idea of how we are to be towards one another in order for man to reach its highest potential. How we should view one another as a way of seeing the greatest potential in man.
My wife tends to think that this argument is the argument that slashes at socialism as socialism takes man as he is. Capitalism embraces the potential of man as he can be, and by encouraging and seeking opportunities for man to increase, not simply to supply man with what he needs now.
Regardless if you view this video clip the same way, Frankl offers some very gospel centered assertions that in order for man to know of our greatest potential, we must see man, and in this case society, as it can be, not as it is now. Seek to obtain our highest potential, not simply seek to respond to our most basic needs.

Is it not interesting, that those very things - the potential for what America can be, was what Obama campaigned on, and suprisingly enough won?
ReplyDeleteWonder why he didn't follow the principles? If there was ever a stage set for hope and change, it was Obama. Why has he fallen so short?
ReplyDeleteBecause he is a wolf in sheeps clothing. I saw right through him from the start.
